Operations Administrative Support



1. Able to perform general clerical and administrative functions to meet support needs to Manufacturing Manager and area specific assignments. This includes data entry, files/records management, composing memos, sending and receiving correspondence.
2. Create, maintain and run reports.
3. Provide follow-through needed to get information from and to the appropriate party to ensure project, special needs and day-to-day functions can be performed in a timely manner.
4. Able to be flexible, juggle multi tasks, and respond to special needs that arise.
5. Able to work independently, with minimal guidance and follow up.
6. Back up HR Administrator regarding attendance log and reports as well as covering when absent.

Area Specific Support:

1. Shipping Department
A. Enter bills of ladings.
B. Call in trucks.
C. Create bar-code tags.
D. MAPICS data entry.
E. Miscellaneous projects.

2. Maintenance Department
A. Enter and close out work orders
B. Enter P.M’s and generate new P.M.’s.
C. Update equipment availability schedules and enter purchase requisitions.
D. Assist with inventory parts systems set up and management. (Establish a data base, enter locations, quantities and part numbers.)
E. Miscellaneous projects.

3. Engineering Department
A. Handle bills of materials and routing creation.
B. MAPICS data entry and clean up of old files and remove inactive records.
C. Update and maintain steel sub records in MAPICS and make sure routings are up to date.
D. Miscellaneous projects.

4. Continuous Improvement Support
A. Maintenance crib inventory setup & administration.
B. AMMS administration.
C. Preparation/duplication of shop and maintenance training materials and presentations.
D. Administrative setup and support of visual factory management materials.
E. Miscellaneous data entry as “Lean” efforts require.
F. Miscellaneous projects.

4. Machine Shop/Tool Room
A. Print filling.
B. MAPICS data entry.
C. Transactional Reporting.
D. Miscellaneous projects.

5. Production Control
A. Analyzing daily planners.
B. Assembling Shop Routing packages.
C. Miscellaneous projects.
